Aaron surges in world rankings

Aaron Baddeley’s magnificent defence of his Holden Australian Open crown at Kingston Heath has seen the teenage star surge in the latest edition of the world rankings. With his two-stroke win in Melbourne in just his second outing as a professional, Baddeley leapt up to No. 106 in the world standings.

Baddeley, along with his manager Paul Galli, will also be charting his return to the US PGA Tour next year.

Aaron Baddeley has defended his Holden Australian Open title in spectacular fashion at Kingston Heath. The Melbourne local held his nerve in his much-anticipated duel with Robert Allenby to post an even-par 72 and win the $1.25 million event by two strokes.
